Expandable Polystyrene (EPS) Sales Account Manager will oversee specific assigned areas for strategic account management and new sales prospecting. The candidate shall plan and direct all sales activity for both established and prospective accounts. The candidate promotes Expandable Polystyrene and other products that Epsilyte offers. - The Account Manager will be responsible for planning and directing Sales activities at both established and prospective accounts.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with EPS customers at multiple organizational levels (CEO, VP, Procurement, Plant Management, etc.) and multiple delivery locations.
- Understanding and proactively analyzing the customer’s business strategy, sponsoring innovation efforts leading to new products and solutions.
- To gain knowledge of the EPS product portfolio and promote product characteristics that align with customers' specifications, needs and expectations.
- Build customer relationships through integrity, in-person sales calls, and providing impeccable customer service as needed and appropriate.
- Implements price and contract negotiations. Manage pricing, request for quotes, and terms of sales and contracts in line with stated business objectives.
- Participates in EPS planning processes. Forecast monthly demand and supports the planning process. Effectively executes EPS business goals and objectives.
- Effectively communicates (weekly calls, sales meetings, call reports, etc.) on assigned team and customer activities.
- Builds and maintains an active pipeline of new business opportunities and updates the Customer Relationship Management tool to communicate progress and actions.
- Other duties as assigned or interested.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a commercial, sales, or procurement role
- Must have 3 years or more of experience with Expandable Polystyrene or equivalent plastic raw materials sales experience
- Experience in forecasting and demand planning
- Willing to travel up to 50%
