e2L is a dynamic, fast-paced educational services company known for its culture of collaboration and innovation, and we are looking for a top-notch Content Marketing Specialist. Having served over 300 school districts, we are scaling our tech-enabled services across the nation. The Content Marketing Specialist is responsible for contributing to and executing marketing strategies and organizing events targeted at the K-12 (kindergarten through 12th grade) education ecosystem. Reporting to the Senior Executive Director of Marketing, the Content Marketing Specialist will focus on leveraging marketing efforts to directly contribute to revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of the marketing plan and strategies related to e2L and its associated brands
  • Produce marketing long and short-form copy and engaging content to promote e2L and its products
  • Create blog posts, resources, and case studies about K-12 education topics
  • Plan and coordinate various events such as workshops, conferences, webinars, and in-person events; optimizing sales enablement by developing event collateral
  • Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms
  • Assemble, write, and edit information strategic organizational communication
  • Management of strategic association memberships and participation
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and maintain an effective social media schedule
  • Generate new ideas and ways to tell the engage2learn story and our partner district’s stories across multiple channels
  • Support marketing and sales efforts by creating content and campaigns to promote e2L services and products
  • Conduct market research and recommend effective strategies
  • Monitor and maintain marketing data and reporting as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements

The successful applicant will demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in the field of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field
  • Three years experience in communications, marketing, public relations, or journalism
  • OR
  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience, which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the position.
  • Experience in Marketing/Communications within the fields of K-12 Education and/or Ed Tech products and services preferred
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
  • Ability to think creatively, translating ideas and visual concepts into compelling copy
  • Experience in marketing automation and CRM system
  • Experience in marketing data analytics and tools preferred
  • Experience maintaining and organizing digital marketing assets and campaigns
  • Ability to understand historical, current, and future trends in the digital content and social media space
  • Ability to synthesize and filter through detailed information, make appropriate decisions and know when to escalate issues

Employment Details

  • This is a full-time, exempt position.
  • This is a remote position.
  • Standard work hours are Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. with additional hours as necessary.
  • Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Salary Description
$75,000 - $90,000
