About the Role:

The Director of Sales will be instrumental in building our outbound sales program from strategy to execution while maintaining an individual sales quota. In this "player-coach" role, you'll test outbound sales strategies firsthand before building and leading a high-performing team. You will design methodologies, select sales tools, and help shape the overall outbound sales structure as we aim to grow our customer base. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with deep outbound sales expertise and a passion for driving revenue.


What You’ll Do:

  • Design & Execute Sales Strategy: Build and implement a comprehensive outbound sales strategy to acquire new customers, increase revenue, and drive business growth.
  • Lead by Example: Serve as a hands-on sales leader, achieving personal sales targets while developing testing methodologies for outreach scripts, cadences, and sales processes.
  • Client Engagement: Establish strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners to maximize sales potential and business opportunities.
  • Analyze & Optimize: Use CRM and sales tools to track performance metrics, analyze data, and generate actionable insights to improve outbound sales efforts continuously.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with marketing, product development, and other cross-functional teams to align outbound sales initiatives with broader business goals.
  • Reporting & Forecasting: Deliver regular reports and presentations to the leadership team, highlighting key achievements, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Market Insights: Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback.
Requirements

About You:

  • Experience & Success: 6+ years of B2B outbound sales experience, ideally within SaaS, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and generating new business.
  • Strategic Leadership: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute outbound sales strategies while managing team performance and providing ongoing coaching.
  • Hands-On Approach: A player-coach who enjoys selling, onboarding clients, and personally testing sales strategies.
  • Sales Tools Expertise: Knowledge of lead generation, lead augmentation, CRM tools, and sales automation platforms.
  • Strong Communicator: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients and internal teams.
  • Leadership & Team Building: A natural leader who can motivate, mentor, and inspire a future high-performing sales team.
  • Results-driven: A relentless focus on achieving results and continuous improvement.
