Position Overview


We seek dynamic and results-driven Sales Executives to join our growing team. The Sales Executive will play a critical role in expanding CENTEGIX's presence within target states, driving business development, and identifying new opportunities. In this role, you will be responsible for generating leads, representing CENTEGIX at key industry events, and closing deals. You will work collaboratively with other sales team members in your territory to achieve strategic sales objectives.


Position Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage prospective customers, including K-12 schools, districts, and other organizations within target states.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential clients through cold calling, networking, and attending industry-related events.
  • Deliver persuasive, customized sales presentations to potential clients, both virtually and in person.
  • Articulate CENTEGIX’s product benefits and value proposition effectively to key decision-makers.
  • Represent CENTEGIX at industry conferences, trade shows, and other relevant events to generate leads and increase brand visibility.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders at events to drive future business opportunities.
  • Drive opportunities from lead generation to deal closure, managing the sales process with precision and maintaining accurate records in CRM software.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including regional sales teams and technical support, to meet customer needs and ensure successful deal execution.
  • Work closely with other sales team members in your assigned territory to ensure comprehensive coverage of leads and opportunities.
  • Share market insights and trends with the broader sales team to optimize business strategies.
Requirements


  • 3+ years experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, preferably in the technology or education sectors.
  • Strong prospecting and lead generation skills with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence decision-makers.
  • Willingness to travel for in-person meetings, conferences, and trade shows as required.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Experience using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) to track and manage opportunities.
  • Candidates must reside in Michigan 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience SaaS solutions 
  • Experience selling to K-12 school districts or within the education sector.
  • Familiarity with safety and emergency response technology is a plus.
