Description

Commercial and Residential Management Group (CRMG) is hiring for a Janitor at New Columbia Apartments, a bustling 554-unit community in North Portland. In this role, you'll play a vital part in creating a welcoming environment by keeping common areas sparkling clean, from the shared bathrooms and kitchen to the lobby, TV room, hallways, elevator, and stairs. Plus, you’ll take on the exciting challenge of apartment turnover cleaning, ensuring every space shines for new residents. Come be a key player in our community!


Location: New Columbia Apartments (Portland, OR)

Hourly Rate: $18-$20/hr.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Weekly Contracted Hours: 40

Requirements

What you will bring as a Janitor

  • One year of groundskeeping experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques and products for janitorial duties.
  • Must be motivated, and efficient, and can follow instructions and work individually or as part of a team.
  • The ability to read, write, and understand written instructions and labels on cleaning supplies.
  • Awareness and ability to adhere to all landlord/tenant laws, State and Federal Laws, and Fair Housing Laws, and refrain from all illegal discrimination practices.
  • Must be comfortable lifting 40-50 pounds.
  • A current valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and proof of auto insurance.
