Scheduling Requirements:

  • This is a seasonal position with weekend and holiday scheduling requirements.
  • Weekend availability is essential, as well as the ability to work during peak holiday periods.
  • Shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Sales Associates will be responsible for working in all departments of the retail floors

  • Apparel and Accessories
  • Ski Sales/Boot Fitting
  • Will Call/Inventory

The Job

We are searching for a group of diverse individuals who are passionate about our culture, the outdoors, and crafting exceptional experiences for our guests. They will contribute to a team that is responsible for the store’s success through customer service, community engagement, and naturally striving to provide authentic and friendly customer experiences for all.

What you will do

  • Work with a motivated team to elevate guest experiences while exceeding expectations in all situations through thoughtful and efficient problem solving
  • Consistently seek to improve personal product knowledge to provide the customers with unbiased advice during gear selection
  • Attend all in-store meetings and trainings relevant to your departments
  • Listen to guests to determine and meet the specific needs of each customer with kindness and honesty
  • Thoroughly learn and understand our systems, policies, and procedures
  • Merchandise the store during downtimes: folding, hanging, stocking, receiving, cleaning, organizing
  • At times, all positions may be working as our greeter/host, ringing up customers on the POS, as well as processing and receiving incoming replenishment
  • Using our STOKED customer service framework, every associate will manage greeting and answering all questions in the department they are currently assisting.
  • All seasonal associates must be able to contribute to 2 of our 3 key areas in winter being Ski, Snowbaord and Softgoods (Helmets, Goggles, Tech Wear)

What you will need

  • Work well in a team atmosphere and be self-motivated to deliver quality work
  • Ability to effectively multitask in a high energy, fast-paced omni-channel retail environment
  • Comfortable engaging with guests to ensure a welcoming environment for all
  • Honest communicator who welcomes the exchange of direct feedback
  • Reliable and able to work full day shifts, weekdays and weekends
  • Must be available to work during the holidays with no planned vacations
  • Experience in the outdoor industry is a plus, but we are happy to train the right candidates

Requirements

The Must Haves

  • Previous experience in the retail industry is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Willingness to learn about the products and services offered.
  • Adaptability, attention to detail, cash handling, communication, conflict resolution, customer service, inventory management multitasking, product knowledge, teamwork

The Nice to Haves

  • Experience with Point of Sales System preferred.

The base wage for this role ranges from $19.97 to $25.59. Where you land in that range depends on your skills and experience, and we also factor in internal pay equity. While the full range is listed for this role, we rarely hire at the top of the range, leaving room for professional and financial growth in role.
