Job Purpose
The Contract Management Analyst is familiar with all kinds of commercial managed care and governmental reimbursement. The Contract Management Analyst ensures that contract provisions are loaded accurately and also regularly performs detailed analysis of pricing accuracy with summarized feedback for external clients and internal leadership.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Loads Managed Care contracts into the MMX’s proprietary Contract Management system
- Performs regular analysis and validation of output of expected reimbursement from the Contract Management System
- Prepares and reviews Managed Care models including forecasting, data analytics and accuracy of system integrity
- Provides detail contract feedback on antiquated terms and areas of potential revenue leakage for internal and external clients
- Learn application functionality and grow industry knowledge
- Performs other duties as requested
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum 3 years work experience including healthcare financial analysis and Managed Care Contracts/Contract Management
- Experience with interpreting Managed Care contracts both governmental and private
- Revenue cycle management experience is required
- Team player with strong communication skills enhanced by my multi-tasking abilities
- Highly numerical aptitude with excellent analytical skills
- Capable of working independently to meet goals and deadlines
- Advanced Excel knowledge and ability to distill large excel files into executive summaries
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic work environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
