At Barron, an HVAC Retrofit Installation Lead Technician will:
- Support Barron’s AOR focused initiative to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction Support scheduling, installation, and quality control best practices for Barron’s HVAC Retrofit Team
- Provide guidance and leadership to the HVAC Retrofit team members
- Utilize Key Performance Indicators (KPI) reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement, striving to meet or exceed individual KPIs
- Review project controls and commissioning requirements
- Ensure that installations are 100% in compliance with all company, local, state, and federal codes
- Assist in the development of HVAC Retrofit Technicians by providing training and mentoring
- Lead HVAC Retrofit Technicians in and model proficient use of ServiceTitan while ensuring departmental technicians follow Barron ServiceTitan processes (timecards, material, information/notes etc.)
- Participate in all safety meetings and adhere to all best safety practices and procedures
- Maintain a Barron branded appearance at all times, including sales opportunities and while on job sites
- Maintain a clean and orderly work vehicle
- Consistently maintain a ‘Customer-First’ perspective

An outstanding HVAC Retrofit Installation Lead Technician will have the following natural strengths & talents:

Experience & Qualifications:
- 5+ years HVAC installation experience required
- 3+ years of ventilation and commissioned experience required
- 3+ years of furnace, heat pump, A/C and mini-split experience required
- 3+ years of sheet metal installation experience required
- 2+ years refrigeration experience required
- 1+ year leadership experience required
- Active 06A Electrical License or Trainee Card required
- EPA 608 Technical preferred but not required
- Nate Certification preferred but not required
- Ability to obtain appropriate licensure
- Valid Washington State Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Pre-Employment Drug Screening
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
Compensation:
- Full-Time
- $24.50-$43.50 per hour; DOE
- Performance Pay Commissions from 6% to 11%; DOE
