What You Bring to the Table:
- Experience:1-2 years of business development experience, ideally within the transportation brokerage or supply chain industry. Proven track record of driving growth and building strong client relationships.
- Sales Acumen: Strong sales skills with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and close deals effectively.
- Strong Excel skills: effectively organize and analyze data, create reports and presentations, and make data-driven decisions
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the transportation brokerage sector, including market trends, competitive landscape, and industry best practices.
- Communication skills: Effective listening, capability to effectively present information to an audience interact and communicate with others in one-on-one or group settings, and ability to influence others and reach mutually beneficial agreements. This involves clear articulation of points, understanding the other party's perspective, and finding common ground.
