We are seeking an energetic and strategic self-starter with fantastic attention to detail to assist with paralegal duties and managing the day-to-day activities or our retail licensing program. This role is part-time and will require about 20 hours a week. This person’s primary focus will be supporting our licensing team while also providing administrative contributions to our internal legal team.
Responsibilities
- Support all aspects of the day-to-day licensing program to include internal, agency, team and partner communication, participate in meetings and prepare presentations.
- Organize, track and monitor brand guidelines, product approval process, retail partnerships and sales and royalty reporting.
- Coordinate internal promotional merchandise and partner hospitality program.
- Draft, review and revise various legal documents, commercial contracts and correspondence.
- Organize, track and monitor status of material agreements and contract forms database.
- Assist in contract management and document signature systems.
- Supporting attorneys in day-to-day tasks including the management of general corporate housekeeping matters.
- 2+ years of in-house experience, preferably supporting a legal team
- Experience in sports, apparel and/or licensing strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Superb attention to detail, as well as organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent computer skills that include MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
