Description

The Educational Stakeholder Relations Manager will be responsible for the overall management of educational stakeholders. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to oversite, development and management of portfolio information; oversite of clear and consistent communications with stakeholder partners; assists with the development and implementation of stakeholder engagement strategy; and supporting the mission of the National Registry. This position reports to the Director of Stakeholder Relations

Essential Functions:


Educational Stakeholder Relations:

  • Stay up to date with current National Registry examination requirements and communicate these updates to national EMS      educational stakeholders and National EMS organizations.
  • Stay up to date with current National Registry examination requirements and communicate these updates to state and local EMS educational stakeholders and state and local EMS organizations to include colleges, fire-based education programs, and private education programs.  
  • Interfaces with National EMS organizations to keep them informed on relevant examination information through conferences, webinars, and meetings either in person or virtually. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams and committees to stay current with educational processes, procedures, programs, and information.

Stakeholder Portfolio Management

  • Leads, researches, develops and provides maintenance of the portfolio of EMS education programs.
  • Leads the update of partner SharePoint site information to ensure that it is current as it relates to EMS education requirements for stakeholders.
  • Leads, coordinates, and collaborates with the National Registry teams to ensure all partner actions and information are current and effectively managed.
  • Maintains thorough knowledge of the National Registry policies, processes, and procedures.

Stakeholder Communications and Engagement

  • Proactively establishes, maintains, and facilitates effective communication with all stakeholders.
  • Leads, coordinates, plans, attends and presents at conferences, meetings, and events with Stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Relations Strategy Development & Implementation
  • Leads strategic planning for the management of all educational stakeholder relations.
  • Assists with leading stakeholder teams and the National Registry workgroups to develop the implementation of strategy.
  • Assists with overall stakeholder strategy.
  • Leads new and revised state implementation processes for National EMS education and certification.

National Registry Mission support

  • Develops stakeholder “frequently asked questions” resources.
  • Leads multiple projects, sets associated deadlines, provides prioritization of work, and always looks for ways to improve, assist others, and advance the organization
Requirements

Experience, Education, Certification and Skill Requirements:

  • EMS educational experience required
  • Possess a bachelor’s degree required
  • Master’s or doctorate education degree preferred
  • Travel required approximately 75 nights per year
  • Experienced Program Director and educator from an initial education program with high-quality outcomes and respectable student volumes at each level (EMR, EMT, AEMT, & NRP)
  • Experienced training officer leading a solid and meaningful continuing education program

  • Ability to travel, coordinate meetings, speak to stakeholders, and promote strong relationships.

Specific Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods at the computer or in meetings.
  • Must be able to see, hear or use prosthetics that will enable the senses to function adequately to ensure that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
  • Must be able to accomplish tasks via the electronic environment such as video conferencing and digital collaboration.
  • Must be able to work in an environment with moderate noise.
  • Must be able to travel approximately 75 nights per year.
