PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR
Seeking a payroll administrator who is highly motivated, independent but also a team player, looking to take on new challenges. Reporting directly to the payroll manager, the ideal candidate will be able to process full cycle payroll for 200+ employees, be savvy in payroll laws of multiple states and can resolve complex payroll matters. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of not only payroll processing accomplishments, but also be innovative, analytical with a firm and concise attention to detail for when special projects are assigned.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process multi state, bi-weekly and 9/80schedule US payroll
- Maintain and updates payroll information
- Accurate data entry of information into the payroll system
- Reconcile non-exempt employees’ timecards
- Track and reconcile PTO and sick balances
- Answer payroll inquiries from employees
- Resolve payroll discrepancies that may arise.
- Enters Payroll Journal Entries into SAGE X3
- Reconciles benefit invoices for accuracy
- Comprehensive knowledge of I-9 process, rules and regulations
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team-oriented environment.
- Ability to work effectively with external departments and with individuals at all levels within the organization.
- Excellent oral, written communication and critical thinking skills
- Proficient in Excel and report writing.
- Light accounting experience.
EMPLOYMENT TYPE:
This is a full-time (40 hours a week/8 hours per day) non-exempt Hybrid role, required to be on-site at our Anaheim branch 3 days per week, moving down to 2 days per week on-site after 2 months.

EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION:
Minimum of 3 years of payroll processing experience
Ability to maintain confidential information
Basic working knowledge of common payroll laws and practices for multiples states
Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, mathematics, or a related field desired and/or equivalent experience of 5+ years processing payroll.
Experience using Paylocity, ADP WorkForce Now (required) and SAGE X3 (preferred)
