Description:

The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for managing marketing awareness, engagement, conversion, and retention for their respective product line. They will need to actively engage with the product organization to understand their product(s) roadmap, new features and functionality releases, and how these releases align to target personas to develop and share messaging to stakeholders, drive renewals and upsell/cross sell revenue with the customer base.


What You'll Do: 

  • Research the market and competitive environment for effective personas and product differentiation
  • Develop and manage the product positioning and messaging across media and engagement channels
  • Produce upsell and cross sell multi-channel, multi-touch marketing campaigns to drive qualified marketing leads and sales pipeline of current customer base across product portfolio
  • Create and implement customer-focused programs and cross-sell initiatives that focus on retaining and strengthening existing relationships
  • Align marketing initiatives to sales goals and effectively report and communicate key metrics to leadership teams
  • Monitor and analyze pipeline and make necessary adjustments to lead generation initiatives in order to maintain or exceed numbers
  • In coordination with the Product Team, align the product marketing calendar with timely assets for prospects and customer promotion, including videos, literature and other promotional materials
  • Create product and feature sales enablement assets to effectively communicate the value and benefits our products offer to our prospects and clients
  • Create product presentations and deliver to stakeholders
  • Proactively identify customer success and collaborate to bring those stories to life use in marketing
  • Act as an ally to sales team and cross functional teams to create compelling programming that complement organizational and business goals
  • Travel to orientation, industry or company events, and other onsite meetings as required
  • Additional duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Degree in marketing, business administration, or related field or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Product marketing experience, preferably in a high-growth SaaS company, with public safety or healthcare industry experience a plus
  • Proven experience managing product marketing process including messaging, positioning, and executing marketing plans in a cross-functional team environment
  • Expert communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven foundational marketing, content creation and management experience
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, appreciation of critical timelines and strong work ethic
  • Ability to maintain discretion when handling proprietary and confidential information
  • Enthusiasm for learning and expanding knowledge or skills
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, honesty, collaboration and team orientation
  • Ability to travel up to 10% annually
