We are seeking a knowledgeable and driven Assistant Manager / Guitar Sales to deliver an exceptional customer experience to our upscale clientele and support the day-to-day operations of our store.
Position Overview:
The Assistant Manager / Guitar Sales will play a key role in delivering top-tier service to our high-end clientele, assisting customers with their guitar, gear, and vinyl needs. This role requires expertise in the guitar market, a passion for music, and the ability to apply sales techniques to deliver a personalized and premium shopping experience.
• Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with customers by offering expert advice on guitar products, accessories, and gear, tailored to the needs of music enthusiasts.
• Sales: Utilize retail sales techniques, such as upselling and personalized recommendations, to enhance the customer shopping experience.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of guitars, amplifiers, effects, and vinyl to provide customers with valuable insights and guidance.
• Operational Support: Assist with day-to-day store operations, including merchandising, managing web orders, and maintaining the store’s appearance.
• Customer Service Excellence: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that each interaction reflects the high standards of our boutique brand.
• Flexibility: Be available to work weekends, holidays, and evenings to meet the demands of our high-end retail environment.
Qualifications:
• Experience:
o 2+ years of experience in a retail environment, preferably within music instruments, fashion, or luxury goods.
• Skills:
o Strong ability to connect with customers, emphasizing product expertise, passion for music, and a commitment to personalized service.
o Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
o Familiarity with retail systems and processes is a plus.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
