PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Boost Sales: Use suggestive selling techniques to offer related items and accessories, driving multiple-unit sales.
• Show Your Expertise: Demonstrate advanced knowledge of store products and services to build sales and enhance customer service.
• Efficient Transactions: Execute all systems and point of sales procedures smoothly and efficiently.
• Communicate Effectively Engage with customers, fellow associates and management with excellent communication skills.
• Hit Your Targets: Achieve minimum monthly sales goals and be recognized for your success!

QUALIFICATIONS

• **Experience: At least one (1) year of related experience in a retail furniture environment is preferred but not required if you have the right attitude and drive.
• Age: Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Communication: Strong ability to read, write and speak English; Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus!
• Tech Savvy: Comfortable working with computer systems, programs and email.
• Resilience: Ability to work productively and effectively under stressful conditions, such as, tight time frames and heavy workloads.
• Customer Focused: Exceptional communication skills and the ability to handle difficult customers with ease.
• Initiative: A proactive approach, independent thinking and the ability to implement new ideas.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work a flexible schedule as needed.

MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

· Retail Sales Experience: At least one (1) year of retail sales experience is preferred but not required

· Tech Skills: Proficient with computer systems.

· Customer Service: Strong customer service skills and experience.

· Education: High school diploma or GED.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Active Role: Most of the time will be spent sitting, standing and walking long hours.
• Moderate Lifting: Occasionally lift and handle materials or equipment up to 20 pounds with or without assistance.
