The HR Associate will be responsible for supporting TCI’s growing staff and contributing to HR projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness in the following areas. 

  • Payroll: Processing biweekly payroll ensuring compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Recruitment: Posting for new positions, providing initial resume screening, managing the interview process, and reference checks.
  • Onboarding: Supporting new hires including forms and applications and orientations.
  • Benefits: Assisting in the administration of the benefits program and processing invoices. Maintains records and knowledge of insurance coverage to assist employees.
  • Records: Helping to maintain employee records, including applications, resumes, and applicant logs.
  • Professional development: Promoting professional development options and tools for employees to expand their skill sets. Assist in organizing and facilitating compliance training.
  • Culture and Morale: Contribute to HR projects and initiatives aimed at keeping the corporate culture vibrant and providing support for a fully remote office to enhance employee engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness. Bring ideas for online events and other morale-boosting activities.
  • Policy: Assisting in writing, revising, and documenting HR policies, procedures, and processes. 
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in similar position
  • Familiarity with multi-state and federal labor laws, OSHA regulations, and other legal requirements
  • Experience in HR payroll and performance platforms and systems
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and tact and the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.

The pay range for this position is between $75,000 and $105,000 annually. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related experience, skills and location.We are hiring in AL, CA, DC, FL, GA, IL, KS, KY, MI, OH, PA, SC, TX, VA, WA.
