The Superintendent is responsible for maintaining an open, positive, and professional line of communication with customers, vendors, general contractors, internal customers, and field employees. Also supervises employees and maintains a safe working environment compliant with government regulatory guidelines and RMC Safety systems. This is a traveling position. Travel is required.
Job Responsibilities (List is not inclusive)
· Ensure work site is compliant with OSHA regulations and RMC Safety protocols.
· Oversee and assure the installation of material, equipment, and manpower.
· Maintain consistent contact with General Contractors to be aware at all times of expected installation dates.
· Ensure quality control and quality assurance throughout the company.
· Request and coordinate material and equipment needs with on-site leadership and Project Manager.
· Coordinate delivery of material and equipment to the job site.
· Keep project status up to date to ensure timely delivery.
· Attend and participate in GC meetings.
· Conduct weekly inspections, and safety meetings. Provide copies of signed safety forms to General Contractor and RMC Safety team.
· Walk job constantly to follow-up with installers.
· Identify problems that need to be corrected.
· Follow-up on all purchase orders and/or extra work.
· Maintain open and positive communication with field employees.
· Manage Sub-contractors, ensure work done meets contract and company requirements.
· Keep up to date with all RMC Policy and Procedures, industry standards and government regulations.
· Available via telephone after hours and on weekends for emergency and/or customer related issues.
· performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties in this job classification.

Education and Experience
· High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
· OSHA 30 Certification required.
· EPA certificate preferred.
· Must have ten or more years of experience.

· Required to stand, walk, and sit.
· Talk or hear, both in person and by telephone.
· Use hand (s) and fingers to handle or feel objects or controls.
· Reach with hand (s) and arm (s).
· Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift to 50 pounds.
