Description

SHINE Technologies is seeking a Project Scheduling Manager to manage the project schedules and a team of project schedulers. This includes leading, coordinating, and monitoring all updates of the SHINE project schedules as well as broad schedule administrative duties, including collecting and analyzing information used to schedule complex, multidisciplinary, construction and equipment installation projects.


Duties and Responsibilities:

The Project Scheduling Manager is a Project Controls role that is accountable for the project schedules. Specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate and monitor all updates of the SHINE project schedules
  • Execute weekly project-wide administrative schedule tasks and own all high-level schedule responsibilities
  • Make recommendations on schedule best practices and maintain documentation to communicate and enforce these recommendations
  • Manage and mentor a team of project schedulers and lead department meetings to communicate corporate, division, and project priorities
  • Lead cross-functional planning meetings with stakeholders throughout the company to build relationships and ensure proper schedule inputs
  • Report schedule variances and concerns to project managers and project leaders
  • Proactively seek schedule and risk information that may impact the project timelines
  • Generate forecasts, variance reports, and other documentation used to monitor and manage projects
  • May include other duties as assigned



Requirements
  • Degree in scientific, construction or business field 
  • 6+ years of prior project or construction scheduling experience using Primavera P6.
  • 3+ years of prior personnel management experience
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical and quantitative skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire staff to perform at their highest level
  • Must have the ability to accurately communicate, investigate, problem solve and identify solutions in a collaborative, team environment
  • Able to effectively coordinate multiple, complex requests
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong work ethic; genuine passion for excellence
  • Experience with non-routine projects highly preferred
