MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
The mechanic works as part of a team to ensure all daily operational and mechanical activities are performed in accordance with our policies and procedures, as well as to ensure the safety of our people and service delivery to our customers. The Mechanic scopes out system needs for each installation, accounting for rig or location-specific needs and requirements.
Performs mechanical work functions, including troubleshooting, configuration, preventative maintenance, and repairs on Workover Rig equipment, including, but not limited to:
- Diesel/gas engines
- Winches
- Power swivels
- Air compressors
- Transmissions
- High-pressure pumps
- Centrifugal pumps
- Pneumatic valve and system
- Hydraulic systems
- Maintains assigned trucks following operating specifications.
- Diagnoses, rebuilds, and repairs vehicles and equipment with minimal supervision.
- Facilitates third-party repair of equipment as needed.
- Performs advanced troubleshooting and repair of air, electrical, hydraulics, and fuel systems.
- Analyzes and interprets data from environmental tests.
- Find solutions to complex technical problems.
- Perform test runs and quality checks before release.
- Performs basic troubleshooting with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Maintains records as part of quality control and assurance programs.
- Provide supervision, mentorship, and leadership to technicians in the absence of the supervisor/manager.
- Executes stop work authority if conditions are unsafe and reports concerns immediately.
- Performs inspections and preventative maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
- Ensures compliance with HSE policies and procedures.
- Ensures work carried out follows company policies and procedures and according to safety regulations.
- All other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE:
- 1+ years’ experience performing service, repair, troubleshooting, and monitoring on workover rigs.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations is a plus.
- High-pressure triplex pumps.
- A five-year clean driving record is a must.
- Must be able to adapt to an always-changing environment.
- Triage problems and find quick and financially sound solutions.
- Welding a plus.
- CDL license is a plus.

- Must provide proof of right to work in the United States.
- Candidates must have clean driving records and pass the company drug screen, background check, and functional capacity test.
