Job Overview
The eCommerce Content Specialist role focuses on writing blogs, content, and copy that is useful for our customers to learn about being enthusiasts, and how to modify their vehicles. This content will be written in a way to capitalize on the most searched problems, or learning opportunities that match our customers needs.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Execute on strategies for needed content on a monthly basis for all divisions, based on campaign items and need as assessed by enterprise marketing leads.
- Create written and optimized content for divisional brand sites, and publish when possible.
- Submit monday.com cards for all open projects unable to be published individually, and notify/coordinate with relevant teams and people to execute content plans.
- Work with Marketing and Digital Advertising teams to provide content recommendations and written copy as necessary.
- Report on rankings and positions for individual keywords, pages, and page groupings using data from sources including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush, etc.
- Ensure that all written copy stays relevant to guidelines and tone for each brand.
- Stay up to date with changing trends and guidelines relating to SEO, Content and Digital Marketing best practices.
- Stay up to date with best practices related to content-driven Search Engine Marketing
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, English, Digital Marketing, Public Relations, or related field preferred
- 0-1 Years Experience in Written Content Marketing & Search Engine Optimization
- Experience Using and/or Knowledge Of Google and Microsoft's suite of organic research tools (Search Console and Webmaster Tools, respectively)
- Experience with different written copy aspects (informational, transactional, and conversational writing)
- Certification in Google Analytics
- Experience in monitoring KPIs and identifying trends between copy and copy types
- Keen understanding of the SEO Content and Automotive Industries
- Understanding of and/or passion for how SEO, UI/UX, and Page Experience work together to promote organic traffic and sales.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday.
