We are looking for a dynamic Facilities Manager which will oversee the facilities management, maintenance, safety, and location risk mitigation of Hydration Room’s 30+ locations, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company standards. This role will be responsible for managing all facility-related needs, from routine maintenance to emergency responses, and will work closely with operational teams to ensure a safe and efficient environment across all locations.

Core Role Responsibilities:
- Facilities Management:
- Oversee the upkeep, repair, and improvements of all locations.
- Create and implement an emergency response system to be able to address facilities issues in real time
- Coordinate regular maintenance schedules, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and cosmetic repairs.
- Manage relationships with vendors and contractors, ensuring timely and cost-effective services.
- Identify and address facility issues to minimize disruption to business operations.
- Assist with site evaluations for new location openings and ensure proper setup.
- Risk Management:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP) across all clinic locations to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations.
- Regularly update IIPP protocols to reflect changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards..
- Manage insurance claims related to facilities and safety issues.
- Design and deliver safety training programs for clinic staff on IIPP-related topics such as hazard recognition, workplace safety practices, and emergency response.
- Ensure all employees are aware of and adhere to the IIPP guidelines.
- Project Management:
- Lead facility improvement and renovation projects, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Manage and track budgets for facility repairs and capital improvements.
- Report on project progress and potential risks to senior management.
- Compliance:
- Ensure all facilities comply with OSHA, ADA, and other regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate inspections and maintain records related to fire safety, health, and other regulatory audits.
- Manage and monitor compliance with lease terms and property-related legal obligations.
- Travel:
- Travel to all Hydration Room locations to oversee and address facility and risk-related issues (50% travel)
- Provide on-site support for new store openings and remodeling projects.
New Store Set-up:
- Oversee the installation of fixtures, equipment, and signage at new stores.
- Coordinate all pre-opening tasks, including utilities setup, safety inspections, and final facility checks.
- Ensure all new stores are in compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to guarantee a smooth transition from construction to operation, ensuring readiness for opening day.
- Provide on-site support and troubleshooting during new store openings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Risk Management, or related field (preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in facilities or risk management, ideally in a multi-location or retail environment.
- Proven experience managing contractors and vendor relationships.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, including OSHA, ADA, and health and safety standards.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Ability to travel frequently across Southern California.
- Valid driver's license required.
