Job Summary/Objective:
The Manager, Patient Services role will assist patients, care partners, HCPs, pharmacists, and other healthcare entities with the prescription pathway. This position will also provide clinical presentations on VALTOCO to appropriate audiences.
Essential Job Functions:
· Presentations to Healthcare Professionals, Payers, Patients, Care Partners and Office Staff.
· Interacts with patients via multiple channels (e.g., phone, email, text) to educate, motivate, and empower them.
· Provide product and service information and education to the patient regarding Neurelis product(s).
· Handles inbound and outbound calls to/from existing patients, new patients, HCPs, office staff and/or vendors.
· Delivers patient program information to appropriate audiences.
· Works cross functionally within the organization.
· Report all adverse events and product complaints in accordance with established policies and procedures.
· Build and maintain technical and clinical expertise within epilepsy/neurology and related areas to engage in deep scientific discussions.
· Engage in continuous learning within the organization’s therapeutic areas of focus.
· Must act in accordance with all Company policies and guidelines.
· Demonstrate the ability to adapt to various market dynamics and market shaping opportunities.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Spends approximately 90% of work time sitting and meeting with others or working at a desk and/or computer. Spends approximately 10% of work time standing or walking within the work area or at meetings and bends, twists, stoops and reaches. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 10 pounds. Working conditions are normal for an office environment. The noise level is usually moderate.
Travel Requirements:
Ability to travel up to 50%.

Minimum Education and Experience Required:
· High School Diploma with 15+ years relevant experience or Bachelor’s degree with 8 years relevant experience within the pharmacy, health insurance, or healthcare segment.
· Excellent understanding of product and payer reimbursement landscape and prior authorization guidelines and processes.
· Good understanding of pharmaceutical dispensing process.
Preferred Education and Experience:
· Nursing Degree (RN, NP, PA); RPh or PharmD is preferred.
· Either previous pharmaceutical experience or experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
