Description

POSITION OVERVIEW

Full-time remote position working during normal business hours. This is a fast-paced, high-volume position responsible for maintaining detailed information in a transaction database, invoicing, and processing commissions, maintaining electronic deal files, monthly reporting, liaison with corporate accounting, and other tasks as assigned to ensure compliance with established corporate guidelines and consistency with company policies.

This position will have the following responsibilities for multiple offices in multiple states.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Transaction Data Management

• Ensure accurate and complete information in transaction database by extracting data from deal documents and other correspondence

• Ongoing and monthly contact with salespeople to get timely transaction updates

• Monitor and maintain dashboards and complete regular quality data checks

• Generate and prepare routine and on-demand reports from transaction database

• Prepare and maintain electronic deal files per department of real estate requirements

Commission Coordination

• Confirm and document broker splits on every transaction

• Prepare and send out commission invoices

• Provide deal backup documentation to accounting for processing commission payments

• Ensure interactions with accounting are handled according to established guidelines and deadlines

• Monitor commission receivables; re-invoice pas due commissions; and facilitate collection procedures


Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum three years commercial real estate experience and/or transactional experience required

• Minimum five years professional experience – bachelor’s degree preferred

• Salesforce experience helpful

• Strong MS Office skills (Outlook, Excel, and Word skills will be tested)

• Analytical skills required (ability to drill down, figure things out and provide solutions). Logic and reasoning skills will be tested.

• Superior attention to detail and follow-through

• Organizational and efficiency skills essential; must be willing to embrace established work process.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization

• Effective at multi-tasking in a fast-paced work environment

• Manage priorities and high deal volume effectively to meet deadlines

• Remote workers required to work during normal business hours
