Job summary:

Do you want to be part of Detroit’s innovation district at Michigan Central? Do you have what it takes to work with businesses and governments across the country to safely integrate drones into the airspace?


In this position you will provide project leadership while promoting the use of AirHub Portal to enable integration of drones into the national airspace. You will be part of a talented team of dynamic and passionate UAS consultants and project managers that enable our customers to be pioneers in integration of drone technologies in their businesses and communities. Reporting to the Director of Implementation Services, you will be responsible for end-to-end planning and execution of a portfolio of projects. This role demands someone who is highly self-motivated, customer focused, and can manage multiple projects and stakeholders with professionalism and flawless execution.


Duties and Responsibilities:

·  Smoothly handling transition from Sales to Project Initiation, which includes pre- contract activities to sufficiently prepare for project planning and execution

·  Taking ownership of scoping calls with customers for needs analysis and success criteria

·  Developing full-scale project plans including timelines, deliverables, and communication for professional services offerings

·  Working with team and building accountability to set high level overview of the project scope and milestones as well as dividing into smaller tasks

·  Great project execution including time tracking, resource management, budgeting and reporting

·  Properly managing scope creep

·  Building a strong relationship with the customer through timely communication of project status and key milestones

·  Successfully completing and handing oV project deliverables and providing post completion insights

·  Collaborating well cross functionally and providing project visibility to internal partners within Sales, Account Management, and Proposal teams



Travel Required: Up to 25%

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a project manager within technology domain

• Strong project management skills; Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred but not required

• Bachelor’s Degree in technical field (e.g., geography, GIS, IT, aviation) OR equivalent experience in GIS, Aviation or related field

• Quick learner with excellent organizational, problem-solving, and data gathering skills

• Proven experience having successfully managed multiple projects simultaneously

• Excitement, energy, and strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication capabilities at all levels

• Strong customer service skills

• Experience working with public sector clients is a nice to have• Passion for UAS, mobility, or emerging technology

• Project management software experience (e.g., Monday.com, Unanet, or similar)

• Willingness to travel <10%
