Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CPA Tax Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of tax regulations, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. This role involves reviewing and managing tax filings, providing strategic tax planning advice, and ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Review individual, trust, estate, corporate, partnership, and non-profit tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Provide strategic tax planning and consulting services to clients, identifying opportunities to minimize tax liabilities and optimize financial outcomes.
- Manage and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high standards of work and professional development.
- Stay current with tax legislation, regulations, and best practices, and communicate relevant changes to clients and team members.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, offering exceptional service and proactive communication.
- Conduct tax research and analysis to resolve complex tax issues and provide practical solutions.
- Participate in business development and the preparation of new and existing client service engagements.

Qualifications and Skills
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in the industry, with a minimum of 3 years of experience reviewing tax returns.
- In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex tax issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
- Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office applications.
