Overview


As a Customer Account Executive, you will work with existing Vantaca clients to increase their efficiencies through purchasing and adopting additional Vantaca products and services. In this Back-to-Base sales role, you will play a crucial role in working with the Customer Success Team to generate leads, self-generating your own leads, driving the sales process, closing new business, and achieving/assisting in the overall Back-to-Base sales team quota. You will be responsible for working laterally with the Vantaca Customer Success Team and larger Financial Services Team to ensure clients are treated with respect and continue to view Vantaca as their partner of choice. Responsibilities 

 

  • Client Engagement: This role is entirely focused on relationship selling. You need to develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understand their pain points, and provide them with opportunities to advance their efficiency through purchasing additional Vantaca products. To do this, you will engage clients virtually, travel for on-site workshops, as well as industry trade shows. 
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on the latest features and functionalities of AP and AR payments as well as Vantaca IQ products to effectively communicate their value to clients. 
  • Sales Strategy: Create and execute a sales strategy to identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling new products and services to existing clients.? 
  • Consultative Selling: Engage in consultative sales conversations to understand client requirements and tailor product recommendations to meet their specific needs.? 
  • Pipeline Management: Work with Customer Success Managers to identify and track leads, qualify deals, lead clients through the buying/selling journey, and enter all data correctly into HubSpot to ensure accurate reporting and forecasting.? 
  • Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals to clients.? 
  • Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations, overcome objections, and successfully close deals while ensuring client satisfaction.? 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Customer Success, Product, Support, and Financial Services Teams to gather client feedback and recommend changes to improve the customer experience. 
  • Reporting: Provide regular sales reports and updates to the Sr. Director of Financial Services and other relevant stakeholders.? 
Requirements

 

Previous experience in back-to-base sales or business development is highly valued but not required. We’re seeking proactive individuals who take initiative and thrive in dynamic, fast-moving situations. Self-starters need only apply. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business. 
  • Sales or a related field (or equivalent) work experience. 
  • Proven inside sales experience in the financial SaaS industry or a similar field is preferred. 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. 
  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot) is a plus. 
  • Understanding of the community management industry is a bonus.
