The Staff Accountant will provide entry-level accounting and finance support. This position will assist with month-end close procedures, account reconciliations and analysis, year-end audit preparation, and perform administrative and other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Prepare and enter journal entries for month-end closing
- Assist with review of monthly financials and general ledger detail reports, research inquiries related to financials
- Balance sheet account reconciliations
- Calculate, post, and ensure accuracy of fixed asset additions, disposals, and depreciation
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Provide administrative support for the dept & other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. An Associate’s degree in Accounting may be considered with the appropriate experience.
- Accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA) preferred
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains, QuickBooks, and/or ConnectWise a plus.
- At least one year of experience in general accounting duties including journal entry preparation and account reconciliations.
- 1-3 years of proven experience in accounting and/or audit roles required.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel (Advanced skills are required).
- Knowledge of GAAP and the ability to apply in practice.

Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 depending upon experience
