We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented System Configuration and Support Analyst with expertise in system administration and configuration to join our remote IT team. This role is critical in managing, customizing, and optimizing our proprietary SaaS Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) application to meet the operational needs of our users.
The ideal candidate will focus on system setup, configuration management, and troubleshooting, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Configure and manage settings in the company’s SaaS RCM application, including reports, dashboards, and analytics.
- Provide technical support for the SaaS RCM application by responding promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat.
- Troubleshoot software issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve problems effectively.
- Document and track customer interactions and reported issues in a ticketing system for accurate record-keeping.
- Create and update support documentation, such as FAQs and knowledge base articles, for customers and internal teams.
- Utilize Jira Service Management to manage support requests and record customer interactions.
- Write basic SQL queries for data analysis using SQL databases as needed.
- Use remote support tools, such as screen-sharing or remote desktop software, to assist users and troubleshoot issues.
- Stay updated on industry trends, application updates, and new support tools to improve the support process.
- Collaborate effectively within a remote team to enhance support processes and user experience.
- Leverage experience with electronic patient care reporting systems for EMS in configuration and support tasks.
- Hold certifications in IT support or customer service, such as CompTIA A+ or HDI Support Center Analyst, which are advantageous for this role.
- Adhere to all QMC HIPAA privacy policies and procedures, always maintaining the confidentiality and security of sensitive patient information.
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Technology, or a related field is preferred
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in RCM software configuration, admin, and support
- Familiarity with Revenue Cycle Management solutions
- Preferred experience with Rescuenet billing software.
- Experience troubleshooting software issues and providing customer support
- Experience with SaaS Helpdesk software, such as Freshdesk, Zendesk, Salesforce, or SysAid, is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Knowledge of software configuration management in a healthcare setting
- Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle management, including payer configuration, adjustment codes, and administrative code tables
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Technical writing experience
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a remote team
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
