Summary:

The Area Sales Director (ASD) reports to the SVP, Oncology and is responsible for overseeing the Specialty Account Managers.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Hire, train, develop and manage and coach Specialty Account Managers

· Increase sales/productivity

· Forecasting against budget

· Maximize revenue by Specialty Account Managers to hit quarterly budgets

· Weekly ride-along’s for coaching with Specialty Account   Managers

· Weekly staff meetings (phoning in is acceptable)

· Establish strong account/HCP 

· Represent the organization at local, regional and national trade shows

· Ensure goals and budgets are met

· Ensure accurate T&E utilization by Key Account   Managers

· Lead, motivate and develop a team of 10 Specialty Account   Managers

· Provide input to regional and national sales meetings (content and objectives)

· Strives to maintain a safe   working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices. 

· Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward all customers and coworkers. 

· Adheres to all policies and procedures TerSera Therapeutics.

· Performs other duties as   assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

  •  BS/BA Required (MBA Preferred)
  •  5 – 10 Years Sales Management Experience within the related field
