Lakota Solutions, LLC is seeking to add a qualified Warehouse Specialist to support our Ft. Drum, NY Location. The successful candidate will perform a variety of warehousing duties (as directed) which require an understanding of the establishment's storage plan.
Work responsibilities typically involve the following and other duties as assigned:
- Verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents,
- Noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages
- Routing materials to prescribed storage locations
- Storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods
- Rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials
- Examining stored materials
- Reporting deterioration and damage
- Removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment
- May operate hand or power trucks while performing warehousing duties
Must possess a minimum of five years of experience in the discipline being supported.
- Meet eligibility requirements to be issued a Common Access Card (CAC)
- GCSS-A qualified user
- Perform ASL Inventories
- Requisition, Store, Receive, Issue and Turn in materials
- Licensed to operate Material Handling Equipment
- Able to account and process materials
- Able to carry 35 pounds
