Summary: 

This position can be remote but requires travel throughout the Midwest.

At Lighthouse Autism Center, we provide critical therapy services to children with autism and their families. Founded by parents of a child with autism in 2012, we have grown from one center in Mishawaka, IN, to the largest ABA provider across the Midwest.  

At Lighthouse, the Expansion Manager is responsible for working with the Vice President Growth and Marketing to support the company’s mission of bringing ABA services to communities that need them. The Expansion Manager will oversee the design and construction of all new facilities including coordinating with outside and internal stakeholders to facilitate a successful building open. The Expansion Manager will work alongside the existing Expansion Manager, with responsibilities being geographically focused. 


Objectives and Responsibilities:

1. Support the site identification process by working closely with the VP of Growth and Marketing to qualify buildings for potential new center locations.  

2. Partner with the Director of De Novo Operations to finalize design for all new buildings.

3. Identify and work with VP of De Novo to select a contractor for each project that fits within budget and scope of project. 

4. Work directly with the general contractors for each project to ensure timely delivery of all work and meet project deadlines.

5. Participate in retrospective meetings on each new project open to continually work to improve the new center opening process. 

6. Travel on-site when new centers open to facilitate move-in and occupancy walkthrough. 

7. Work with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate tasks relevant during the construction period to support new opens (IT; door systems; signage; etc.)

8. Coordinate directly with all members of the De Novo Team to support meeting organization’s de novo goals. 

Requirements

 

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or related field. 

· Minimum of five years working in construction.

· Professional level verbal, written, and communication skills.

· Highly organized, detail-oriented, and possessing excellent time management skills.

· Proficient in Excel and Word 

· Experience with lease negotiation.

· Travel required (50%)
