The Inside Sales Executive will identify, develop, outreach plans and maintain documentation in the Customer Relationship Management System (CRM). Will be engage in outbound call activity to prospect for customers, follow up on leads as a result of marketing initiatives and conduct technology demonstrations. Will also engage in written and verbal correspondence to win and maintain new business. This is an ideal entry level position for a coachable individual that is comfortable with technology and working in a tele sales environment with daily key performance indicators.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES
An individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily.
- Build awareness around the LS&S Brand
- Run outbound call prospecting campaigns
- Work closely and coordinate with marketing and direct sales teams
- Ability to identify potential decision maker of organization
- Regularly track activity in CRM
- Grow satisfied client relationships
- Other duties as assigned
An individual should possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed and meet the amount of education, training and/or work experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree required
- At least one year of telesales experience required
- Must have demonstrable CRM systems experience required; preferably Salesforce, previous dialer or campaign cadence software experience or experience with similar sales productivity tools
- Proven ability to work in a metrics-driven sales environment
- Library operational or library sales experience
- Thorough knowledge of strategic selling
- Strong communicator and a highly competitive teammate
- Risk-taker and willingness to accept rejection
- Ability to quickly bond with prospects, control the sales cycle, quickly and thoroughly qualify and close opportunities
- Process oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple, diverse projects
- Ability to work independently and be a self-starter
- Have proven writing ability in conjunction with excellent presentation skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for long periods of time and to maintain focus on projects such as computer screens or detailed paperwork.
- Occasionally lifting of items weighing up to twenty-five (25) pounds such as files, books, and other materials.
