Summary
The Delivery Specialist is an essential part of the Venture Team, responsible for representing Venture consistent with our VIBE and responsible for timely and accurate delivery of documents related to real estate transactions for customers and industry partners. The delivery specialist plays an important role in delivering a customer experience in the market that is simple, predictable, and personal.
Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities:
Deliveries – Represents the Company’s Core Values (VIBE) while interacting with customers leaving them with a one-of-a-kind experience.
Front desk coverage - Stands when greeting customers and offers refreshments. Announces their arrival to the Escrow Officer and stands when they leave to thank them for coming in.
Marketing Events – Supports team with set up and take down for sales and marketing events.
Responsible for the following functions:
- Delivery Operations: Execute timely and efficient delivery of documents to customers according to established routes and schedules. Distribute mail and packages to appropriate team members. Includes commission check deposits, check conversions, internal deliveries, and pick-ups for a variety of purposes.
- Route Optimization: Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize delivery times, fuel consumption, and vehicle wear and tear.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage log for expense reimbursement.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe and reliable operation. Report any issues or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Office Coordinator Back up: As needed, keep front desk, lobby and closing rooms tidy and presentable with all necessary materials including pens, reading glasses, calculators and note pads.
- Marketing Events – Supports team with set up and take down for sales and marketing events.
- Assists with other projects as assigned from title, escrow, and admin department.
- Consistently seeks out opportunities for process improvement.
Qualification/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred experience as a courier or delivery driver and/or customer service.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, telephone, and email etiquette.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure while multitasking.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications
- Copier, e-mail, typing and 10 key calculator skills a plus.
Physical Demands:
- Sit for prolonged periods.
- Use hands and/or fingers to pick up, grasp and sort
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities include close and peripheral vision and ability to focus and identify/distinguish colors.
