We are seeking the highly-trained C.N.As. to work on our sub acute skilled rehabilitation unit. We are looking for experts to take on technical responsibilities as well as a customer service and a leadership role. Provides quality nursing care to clients; implements specific procedures and programs; coordinates work within the department, as well as with other departments; reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responds to inquiries or requests for information; assists the immediate supervisor with tasks to support department operations that should be in accordance with policies and procedures, current federal, state and facility standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility.

PM (2nd Shift) : 3:00pm-11:00pm
NIGHT (3rd Shift): 11:00pm-7:00am
- Current valid certification of Certified Nursing Assistant credentials, as required by Illinois Department of Public Health or recommendation of an instructor of in-state approved C.N.A. program.
- Completed Competency Test as required by the state of Illinois.
- Competency must be obtained within 4 months
- Prior experience as a C.N.A. within a long-term care setting.
- Ability and willingness to work harmoniously within a team environment departmentally.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form with a diverse group of people.
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, clients/patients, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Aptitude for detail work.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
- Must be able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile people within the facility.
