Stratacomm seeks an Executive Producer to manage all aspects of TV/video production and critical business affairs related to the work. The Executive Producer is the primary production point of contact for the internal creative, project management and client service teams and external directors and production houses. They are a master of their craft and will support projects of all sizes and complexity, bringing best-in-class creative to life and championing diversity initiatives within the work. This role requires the ability to innovate and color outside the lines of industry production norms.

Responsibilities:
- Leads and manages all aspects of the production process, from concept development to post-production, including collaborating with the creative team and managing external directors, production houses and vendors to ensure the successful delivery of projects on time and on budget.
- Partners closely with the Executive Creative Director/Creative Director for the client/project to establish a creative point of view and push to improve creative output through execution and craft.
- Develops and maintains a production vendors roster to complement and supplement the internal creative team, including leading efforts to cultivate a diverse, equitable and inclusive culture within our production work.
- Develops a relationship with clients along with a deep understanding of the client’s guidelines and competitive bidding best practices, ensuring all work is produced with creative and client needs in mind.
- Deploys industry expertise to manage selection and negotiation of all outsideproduction vendor contracts based on scope, budget and timeline of the project and which vendor is best suited to recreate the creative vision.
- Oversees the development of director’s treatments, shooting boards, casting, location scouting and all production logistics.
- Translates client feedback into actionable creative guidance, in real time.
- Creates and manages project timelines, estimates and scopes of work.
- Manages administrative/business affairs aspects of production, including vendor and talent contracts, budgets, invoice review/approval, and job wrap-out procedures, and collaborates with the legal and finance teams to ensure compliance and adherence to agency policies.
- Exhibits passion and maintains knowledge of latest industry trends (music, media, distribution, directors, film, tech, etc.) and our clients’ businesses.
- Drives innovation to build production learnings and teach/foster internal teams.
- Works closely with department leads to vet upcoming projects while bringing production solutions to the table to accomplish the creative vision.
- Plays an integral role identifying growth opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years of experience in agency production across broadcast TV, OLV, social media, experiential, VR, and AR.
- Experience with Hispanic market productions (Spanish-reliant and bilingual) a plus, but not required.
- Existing, best-in-class production relationships, commensurate experience managing external vendors/partners, and a deep understanding of SAG and non-union talent guidelines and contracts.
- Solid understanding of the creative process and outstanding creative sensibility with a proven track record of producing effective, impactful work.
- Balance a sense of calm and good judgment while being both empathetic and firm if/when needed. Ability to recognize and parse what’s flexible/adaptable, and what’s not.
- Effective negotiation and excellent problem-solving and follow-up skills.
- Highly organized team player with effective time management and prioritization skills.
- Ability to manage/oversee multiple projects of varied scale concurrently, including experience with producing projects with budgets ranging from <$50,000 to $1 million+.
- Excellent communication skills that help make collaborations/meetings more efficient (recap notes/outlines, action items, etc.).
- Extensive expertise creating timelines, staff plans and scopes of work, and developing and managing budgets.
- High attention to detail with the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
- Honesty, integrity and a commitment to the highest professional standards.
- Experience with using project management tools to create timelines and manage creative workflows (e.g., Asana, Trello).
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
