This is a full-time on-site position located in Toppenish, WA. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision, short- and long-term disability, life insurance, 7 paid holidays (after 90 days of service), and generous PTO accruals from day one!
Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure smooth production operations.
- Oversee routine maintenance and repairs of production machinery, including but not limited to machines, conveyors, and related equipment.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues in a timely manner to minimize production disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to lockout/tagout procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and equipment modifications.
- Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and spare parts, ensuring availability while minimizing excess stock.
- Order and procure necessary parts and tools, maintaining cost-effectiveness and timely availability.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and equipment upgrades to enhance production efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Lead, mentor, and manage maintenance team.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or G.E.D.;
- 6+ years leadership experience, preferably in a manufacturing or flexible packaging environment;
- 3 to 5 years experience as a Millwright;
- 4 to 6 years electrical and machine experience;
- Technical school or skilled trade program preferred.
