Sigvaris is currently looking for a Clinical Sales Specialist to join our Lymphedema & Lipedema Business Unit. The Lymphedema & Lipedema Business Unit is a new initiative and strategic investment toward expanding the Sigvaris Group capabilities and presence into this clinical area. This important program will have a positive impact on the quality of life patients living with Lymphedema & Lipedema. The Sigvaris Lymphedema & Lipedema Clinical Sales Specialist will assist in the development of the new program. The Clinical Sales Specialist will be responsible for growing revenue in the Lymphedema & Lipedema market through new business lead generation and key account support. They will promote and support the Sigvaris Lymphedema & Lipedema program, brand and product lines through education, in-serving and sales services for current and potential customers and clinicians across the United States. The Clinical Sales Specialist will provide clinical education, sales strategy and support in order to assist in achieving or exceeding projected sales goals and increasing sales revenues within assigned product lines. Partnering closely with the Senior Commercial Director, Product Management and existing Sales Team and Sales Training department, this role is critical to building the new program capabilities. The ideal candidate will be energized by the opportunity to create something new and beneficial in this space!
This position will be located in the Central region. Ideal candidate must reside in one of the following cities - Detroit, Chicago, Cleveland, St. Louis, Indianapolis, and Minneapolis/St. Paul and in close proximity to a major airport.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• The Clinical Sales Specialist will be responsible for growing revenue in the Lymphedema & Lipedema market through new business lead generation and key account support to include virtual calls, in-person calls, in-servicing, etc.
• Educates customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products by creating and delivering presentations and demonstrations using a wide variety of formats and platforms (e.g. slides, papers, manuals) to keep all customers abreast of the latest product, therapy updates, and technology developments and current items of interest in the industry.
• Meets with existing and potential customers (e.g. physicians, therapists, nurses, clinical office groups, DMEs, pharmacies, fitters) by traveling (in an automobile, airplane, etc.) to identify their clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care and to discuss and demonstrate and train them on how company products can help them to achieve their goals.
• Develops relationships with customer personnel at all levels including staff, clinicians, and administrators (e.g. through casual conversation, meetings, participation in conferences or clinical society activities) to make new contacts and to identify key decision makers in order to facilitate future sales.
• Responds to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing creative and feasible solutions or working with other related personnel (e.g. sales, marketing, leadership) to develop optimal solutions.
• Provides direction, guidance and exercise significant latitude and independence in their assignments.
• Assist in educating internally and coaches other team members from their position of clinical expertise.
• Implements and monitors strategies outlined by the quarterly plan of action for the area. Champion for supporting market development, product launch, and competitive product intelligence.
• Work with sales management to proactively identify strategic initiatives that improve the effectiveness of the area and organization.
• Completes business reports, tracks business critical data and is accountable to a quarterly plan of action.
• Fosters positive morale among staff, by promotion of open communication with all departments, to help create and maintain an innovative and cooperative staff relationship and environment.

• Follows established company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with SIGVARIS policies, industry standards, ISO 13485 standards, 6S and Lean Manufacturing, and Federal, State and local laws.
• Follows all work instructions, creates and maintains accurate records to meet all internal and external requirements to support the SIGVARIS Quality System and Quality Policy.
• Accurately performs any other duties and responsibilities as assigned to ensure an efficient workflow.
EDUCATION and/or WORK EXPERIENCE:
• BA/BS required in related clinical field plus a minimum of more than two (2) years of clinical work experience in the area of lymphedema therapy, lipedema, fat diseases, vascular, wound care or related experience. (CLT preferred).
• Sales experience within the medical device and/or pharmaceutical industry is preferred but some customer-facing sales experience is required.
• Proficient in relevant software applications including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of business principles and practices preferred but not required.
• Willingness to travel domestically 50% to 75%
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Regularly required to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear, bend, lift or climb.
• Finger dexterity and hand coordination required.
