Position Summary
This role will focus on CyberSecurity activities including management of internal tools such as MFA, Sophos, AD and coordinating with 3rd party vendors for audits, pen tests, and reporting activities. There will be some additional responsibility for day-to-day desktop support, administration, monitoring and support of enterprise-wide systems that will include ensuring operational environments are ready to support business and end user’s needs. The individual must be an IT professional who is a polished, articulate, team player with exceptional interpersonal skills.
This position is a remote position working from their home office adhering to Fuzion’s Remote Work policies. Fuzion's corporate office location is in Carmel, Indiana.
Position Responsibilities
- CyberSecurity duties in a PHI and NIST environment
- Monitor and maintain endpoint and cloud security tools
- Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization
- Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes
- Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
- Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure
- Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
- Assist with desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions
- Perform routine/scheduled audits of the systems, including all backups
- Assist with maintenance and implementation of automation throughout the business
- Other duties as required
- Strong hardware/software troubleshooting skills
- Experience resolving end user issues
- Experience in the following areas: patch management, anti-virus suites, OS imaging, and system performance monitoring
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and desktop operating systems (mixed versions)
- Knowledge or willingness to learn Microsoft Azure and Office365
- Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory administration (including OU and GPO management)
- Knowledge of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, subnetting)
- Knowledge or willingness to learn Fortinet networking products

- B.S. Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
