Quality Control Technician
Description

The Quality Control Technician performs quantitative and qualitative tests and checks on samples produced by the production lines. The Quality Control Technician is responsible for communicating quality and product performance related issue to the Production and Quality staff. 


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform required quality tests and checks as required by the quality plan.
  • Performs material testing as required by the quality plan or as required.
  • Accurately record the results of the quality tests and checks into a quality database.
  • Promptly and accurately communicate all quality and product performance related issues to both the production and quality staff.
  • Escalate serious or unresolved quality and product performance issues to management.
  • Ensure that non-conforming product is identified and quarantined.
  • Perform quality audits of the production process.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

HS diploma or equivalent


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Quality Control in a production environment preferred but not required

HS diploma


LANGUAGE SKILLS

Written and verbal skills required


SKILLS

Basic math skills 

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

Basic computer proficiency (email, word processing)
