We are seeking a Client Sales Director to lead the growth of our core Engineered Solutions (ES) business. Integral to this business is AMS Group’s relationship with our long-standing client, Honeywell. 


As the Client Sales Director within Engineered Solutions, you will be a key member of the business leadership team, accountable for all customer facing strategies and processes to drive year over year profitable growth. You will utilize your exceptional communication skills to inspire strong engagement from the broader sales teams and network.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Strategic & tactical ownership of the Honeywell partnership; responsible for creation and execution of an annual channel partner growth plan including, but not limited to, customer engagement plans & portfolio expansion. 
  • Drive new business opportunities through expanded awareness and engagement across Honeywell sites, departments and stakeholders. 
  • Oversight and action against day-to-day business needs to ensure successful outcomes on in-flight projects across      internal, customer, client and supplier stakeholders.  
  • Increase AMS Group awareness and presence in Honeywell through regular visits and interactions on-site in Phoenix and other Honeywell locations as well as core military user sites such as Tinker Air Force Base.
  • Maintain excellent key Customer relationships with our government agencies such as Defense Logistics Agency; military end users and our industry prime contractors (Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Northrop Grumman etc..). 
  • Nurture, manage and grow our client relationships as a key component of our overall growth strategy.
  • Represent the voice of our clients/customers in all internal meetings and communications.

Sales Pipelines & Process:

  • Maintain a healthy, sustainable sales pipeline for both the near and long term. Balance the focus on achieving new revenue stream development with near term sales closures, to meet operating plan commitments.
  • Regularly utilize the CRM tool to ensure accurate and up to date pipeline opportunities and revenue projections.
  • Own and continually improve the business development and sales processes to be efficient and effective in supporting the organization that values speed and agility as a competitive advantage.
  • Partner with the VP & GM Engineered Solutions to develop and execute both the long-term strategic growth plans, as well as the annual operating plan. 

Cross-Functional Leadership:

  • Build positive and collaborative relationships with all internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure alignment across various team functions (Inside sales, Corporate Business Development, Marketing, Engineering, Program Management, etc.) in support of your business goals.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey ideas effectively across a national business unit and global customers. 

Organization: Experience operating within an integrated sales team that produces excellent results through a collaborative and organized customer-first approach in a complex trading environment.

CRM Tools & Processes: Proven ability to utilize a CRM tool effectively to drive productivity and improve customer experience.

Requirements

WORK EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in a related field 
  • Five or more years in Aerospace & Defense sales roles, 
  • Proven track record of managing significant, complex client relationships & sales cycles
  • Ability to craft and execute a business strategy effectively
  • Team player who can demonstrate the ability to build relationships across business locations
  • Military or Honeywell experience a bonus
  • Willingness to undertake up to 50% travel in the execution of this role
