Job Summary

ARG’s mission is to protect clients from obsolescence by providing IT clarity and advising our clients about technology changes. Senior Enterprise Consultants collaborate with our internal teams and help create a vision of the future for our clients as it relates to technology. The Senior Consultant, works closely with our clients, serving as the face of ARG. The primary goal is to help our clients make sound business decisions to achieve their immediate technology goals and ensure a seamless transition to their future goals.


Essential Functions:

  • Manage and oversee ARGs largest client relationships
  • Execute the ARG playbook fully utilizing the project board deck for consistency and to drive success 
  • Develop and manage relationships with key decision makers
  • Responsible for meeting and or exceeding sales and performance goals
  • Demonstrate accountability for all new sales and renewals
  • Lead and manage a team to ensure success when pursuing or maintaining client relationships
  • Directs the “Enterprise POD” on client engagement
  • Manage positive relationships with field representatives with suppliers to strategically align on projects
  • Cultivate relationships with field representatives to generate new business from ARG’s business development efforts
  • Gather and maintain knowledge of competitors to improve sales performance
Requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:  

  • 5+ years of technology or telecommunications sales experience
  • Experience creating detailed business plans to facilitate the attainment of goals 
  • Knowledge of market research, sales, and negotiation principles
  • Must thrive in a competitive sales environment
  • High level of personal integrity
  • Comfortable dealing with all levels of clients in a competent and confident manner
  • Must have the ability to work with challenging clients and assist with issue resolution
  • Ability to lead projects and opportunities, and delegate tasks internally and externally
  • Must be willing and comfortable presenting to clients in person, via conference call and web conference
  • Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to focus on and manage multiple high priority tasks
  • Detail oriented
  • Outstanding written and spoken communication skills


Required Education, Certifications/ Licenses, Related Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree plus 3-5 years of experience in the technology space strongly preferred
  • In lieu of degree, equivalent, proven combination of education and experience may be substituted

Physical Job Requirements (with/ without reasonable accommodations)

  • This position requires the ability to remain in a stationary position (standing and/or seated) all of the time
  • This position operates machinery and/or equipment that requires the constant use of hands/fingers/wrists (ex: typing) all of the time
  • This position requires the ability to spend all of the time viewing computer monitors.

Travel Requirements

  • This position may commute between ARG’s HQ office and clients on an as-needed and case-by-case basis
  • Anticipated travel will be by car, air, and/or train
