We are looking for a highly motivated, entrepreneurial Business Development Manager who is looking to take their career to the next level. This high performing BDM will lead the business development efforts for IWS in the Central / South Central Region of the United States


Responsibilities include:

  • Manage the sales and proposal process for all lines of business for water, wastewater and reuse projects
  • Manage named, national account relationships and develop new customer relationships
  • Develop new rep relationships for the municipal and industrial market
  • Gather project requirements through field visits and communicate with engineering to develop a conceptual design
  • Build a strong pipeline of opportunities with a heavy focus on new accounts in the region
  • Control the sales process and drive leads to closure to generate new revenues
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, other related field, or equivalent water treatment experience
  • 5+ years of experience in water treatment sales
  • Direct experience in selling to one of our key markets – residential development, food and beverage or municipal
  • Experience in consultative sales with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and self-motivation with a proven ability to work across functional areas.
  • Skills in problem-solving, negotiation, and building rapport with clients and business partners.
  • Ability to travel up to 60%

Base Salary: $100k-$140k
