Reports To
The Database and Applications Developer will report to the Director of Information Technology.
Job Overview
The Database and Applications Developer is responsible for creating and maintaining database objects, developing custom reports, and programming applications to meet end-user needs. This role also includes building ETL solutions, providing critical database and application support, and implementing database-related technologies to achieve team goals.

Responsibilities and Duties
· Create and maintain database objects (e.g., tables, views, indexes, stored procedures, CTEs, functions) to support end-user requirements.
· Develop and maintain custom reports using Crystal Reports and SQL Server Reporting Services.
· Program and maintain client-server and web-based applications, utilizing technologies like Angular, C#, Visual Studio.NET, ASP.NET, and VB6.
· Develop and maintain database documentation following best practices.
· Design and build ETL solutions using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
· Provide on-call support for business-critical databases and applications to both local and remote employees.
· Implement and support other database-related technologies to meet team objectives.
· Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· Demonstrated proficiency in reading, writing, and tuning complex T-SQL queries, SQL scripts, procedures, functions, CTEs, and triggers.
· Demonstrated proficiency in creating reports with Crystal Reports and MS SQL Server Reporting Services.
· Proficient in programming, debugging, and unit testing applications with Angular, C#, Visual Studio.NET, and ASP.NET.
· Demonstrated proficiency in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for building ETL solutions.
· Database administration experience, with a proven ability to identify and resolve bottlenecks using SQL Server Profiler, Dynamic Management Views, and Database Tuning Advisor.
· Ability to work independently, as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
· Strong customer service orientation, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of simplifying complex technical topics.
· Ability to multitask effectively, prioritizing and managing tasks in a fast-paced setting.
· Self-motivated, detail-oriented, with proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Knowledge of EDI is a plus.
· Previous experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field is a plus.
