Reporting to the area supervisor. This individual is responsible for making sure that they adhere to the area requirements and duties required by supervisor. They may be used in several capacities across the business within their qualifications. They will be required to maintain production records and ensure standard operating procedures are being followed. They will be required to comply with all regulatory, safety and environmental requirements.

 

Responsibilities Kitting

• Assembly product(s) based on job specifications

• Package various products based on job specification 

• Accurately account for inventory being assembled 

• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work space 

• Other tasks as assigned 

• Be able to lift up to 40 pounds 

• Work in an uncontrolled climate and warehouse environment  

• Will be required to work on production lines.

• Will be required to follow safety and quality standards.

• Facility housekeeping

• Un-packing cans from cartons

• Manual component add-ons cans


Responsibilities Case Loader

• Supply production line, operates controls

• Pack cans in cartons

• Monitors equipment in case of malfunctions.

• Manually places cartons in place as required, and occasionally manually handles pallets.

• Verify components – correct box against spec sheet

• Will be required to work on production lines.

• Will be required to follow safety and quality standards.

• Keeps work area clean and orderly. Remove trash 

• Facility housekeeping

• Un-packing cans from cartons

• Manual component add-ons cans


Responsibilities Skid Loader

• Stacks boxes of finished product onto skids, creating a stack pattern

• Generate appropriate paperwork for pallet tags

• Match spec sheet with orders

• Will be required to work on end of production lines

• Will be required to follow safety and quality standards

• Operate manual pallet jack

• Fill out production paperwork for shift

• Keeps work area clean and orderly. Remove trash and cullet. 


Responsibilities Can Raker

• Attends palletizers supply production line,  operates controls

• Manually places cans, as required, and occasionally manually handles pallets.

• Will be required to work on production lines.

• Will be required to follow safety and quality standards.

• Fill out Quality logs based on pallet numbers

• Dispose of cans at end of shift

• Recycling of concentrate

• Supply front room with required material needed (marbles, rags, etc.)

• Read and follow spec sheets

• Inspect pallet for correct quantities

• Keeps work area clean and orderly. Remove trash and cullet. 

 

Position Requirements


Qualifications:

• At least 18 years of age

• Good hand eye coordination

• Must be able to work a rotating schedule, with weekend and holiday requirements.


Requirements

• Must have effective verbal and written English communication skills in order to follow spec sheets

• Able to work overtime and nights as required


Knowledge – Skills – Abilities

• Ability to work well under minimal supervision

• Attention to details, organization ability and ability to interact well with others.

• Must be able to operate basic hand tools


Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in a chemical manufacturing plant environment.

• Ability to execute strenuous, sometimes repetitive physical work such as climbing,  lifting objects up to 50 lbs and pushing/ pulling objects

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

• Able work in extreme temperatures
