Venture Forthe is currently hiring for a Field RN Supervisor in our Niagara Falls and Northern Erie area! As a RN at Venture Forthe, you will be responsible for providing job training to home health aides, personal care aides. Assists in the agency’s continuing education/ in-service program and field competency testing of all clinical staff.
Shift: Monday-Friday 8:30a-5p plus some on call duties.
Job Qualifications
- NYS licensed and currently registered as a Registered Professional Nurse.
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing and holds a Diploma, Baccalaureate or Masters Degree.
- Thorough knowledge of the scope of practice of professional and paraprofessional healthcare.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to speak effectively before customers/patients or employees of the agency.
- Excellent organizational writing, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal or diagram form.
- One (1) year Home Care experience
- Valid Driver's License
***Sign on Bonus up to $10,000***
This number is based on the number of hours the individual is working on a part-time basis. For example, if working in a Full-time 40 hours/week capacity, the individual would be awarded $10,000. If the individual works Part-time 20 hours/week, the amount that would be awarded would be $5,000.
RN hires will receive bonus payments, equally divided upon the bonus given:

• After 90 days of continuous working.
• After six months of continuously working.
• After 270 days
• After one year of employment
REGISTERED NURSE (RN) DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the coordination, development and direct supervision of the agency’s paraprofessional staff
- Provides in-field professional supervision and on-the-job training to personal care aides
- Assists with teaching Personal Care Aide training classes
- Provides medical oversight for clients in their homes- including but not limited to assessments, obtaining MD orders, monthly contacts and maintaining an appropriate Plan of Care
- Required to participate in on-call rotation (+$7/hour while on call).
