Description
The primary responsibility for this position is to lead the onboarding and training of new Pharmacy operations staff and Pharmacy Services Associates. In addition, this position is responsible for curriculum development and continuous training of current staff. The Pharmacy Operations Trainer will support our pharmacy teams by assisting with the development and delivery of instructional material to enhance the competencies of pharmacy staff. This position will work with the operational leaders to assess needs, develop and deliver training, as well as post training assessments to measure impact.
Travel required 50-70% as the business dictates. Ideal location would be PA/NJ/DE surrounding Philadelphia.
- Develop and deliver effective presentations for the onboarding of new employees, and development of current staff
- Coordinate training schedule with the hiring and training demands of the pharmacies
- Conduct employee assessments to assess and determine skill levels for the following functions: data entry, inventory, and patient communication.
- Maintains knowledge of current systems of dispensing along with all processes, procedures utilized in our pharmacies.
- Capable of working in the current systems as a pharmacy technician
- Collaborate cross functionally with subject matter experts to determine areas in which training is needed or where improvement is needed

Requirements
- Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma is required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Current active Pharmacy Technician license in good standing
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Experience with operations within a 340B pharmacy is preferred
- Experience with Pioneer Pharmacy Management System preferred
- Ability to train effectively in person as well as remotely
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Extremely detail oriented and able to multi task
