As an SEO Supervisor you will support leadership in the training, delivery oversight, and goal achievement of the SEO team. You will develop SEO strategies and execute SEO action plans for assigned clients. You will supervise members of the SEO team and serve as the primary resource for strategic guidance, questions, and planning. You will develop and execute conversion optimization strategies as a part of the larger web performance team. 

Duties and responsibilities 

• Understand client business and marketing goals in order to translate those into strategy, solutions, and action plans for assigned SEO clients 
• Develop SEO strategy and execute SEO action plans for assigned clients 
• Ensure that action plans for all SEO clients are being executed as promised and meeting desired goals 
• Effectively communicate SEO strategies, ensuring concepts are conveyed in a clear, relatable manner; engage in strategic discussions that go beyond report analysis to drive actionable insights and foster long-term relationships. 
• Lead in the creation of effective technical SEO recommendations covering redirects, canonicals, indexing, crawling, and site performance 
• Analyze website user behavior including session recordings, heatmaps, and engagement metrics to develop conversion optimization recommendations 
• Develop and execute time-based testing and A/B tests to validate hypotheses and provide insights for search engine and conversion rate optimizations 
• Help develop and lead SEO training 
• Oversee the resource management needs of the team 

• Mastery with SEMrush and Google Analytics  
• Mastery in improving SEO results for clients 
• Mastery in  analyzing website and search traffic data to provide data-driven recommendations 
• Experience in conversion optimization strategies  
• Understanding of SEO copywriting/content creation
