The Leasing Agent (LA) offers the chance to support our Portfolio Managers and Senior Portfolio Managers in necessary marketing and leasing tasks and developing and maintaining positive relationships with incoming leads. The LA fulfills this support role by completing the tasks below as instructed to them by the PM or SPM.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide leasing support for Portfolio Managers, including but not limited to:

o Conducting QC/final walk throughs and taking photos. Reporting and deficiencies to the PM

o Scheduling/taking professional photos of rent ready units

o Creating marketing advertisements, utilizing Tenant Turner, Facebook, and other programs to generate lead flow

o Lead response and showings, open houses, collecting property feedback from leads and providing that to the property manager

o Conducting showings and leasing properties

o Move in walk throughs

o Facilitate leasing process from approved application through move-in, including assisting with PetScreening and security deposit collection process.

o Drafting leases for PM to send out


  • Fulfill any additional duties as assigned by the team, including but not limited to:

o Reporting any and all property deficiencies/repair needs to PM/APM

o Continuing education for maintaining an active real estate license

o Managing a calendar for your portfolio, including but not limited to tracking dates regarding lease renewals, non-renewals, regular maintenance, and other important dates, and remaining organized

o Building and maintaining positive relationship prospects, vendors, and coworkers

o Using high touch communication methods, such as Teams, phone calls, texts, and email

o Applying the Urgent vs. Important Matrix to determine levels of need and forms of communication and actions

o Direct prospects to applications

o Reviewing and processing leases, obtaining any required approvals, delivering to residents, and closing the deals

o Working with a team and different departments to complete tasks

o Attending daily check-ins with Portfolio Manager for daily tasks

o Using AppFolio to update correct property information and pulling reports as noticed

o Develop full understanding of the Portfolio Management Role

What You Get:

  • Base salary: $48,000 - $50,000/year, depending on skills and experience
  • $6,000 Yearly Stipend for Expenses
  • 20% bonus paid out monthly based on KPIs
  • Total Earning Potential: $63,600 - $66,000/year

Requirements

What You Bring:

  • Arizona Real Estate License required
  • Leasing experience required
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred


  • Customer service experience
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and other basic office technology
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in customer management and relationship development
