Summary:

The Southwest Regional Sales Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling all sales operations and activities within the Southwest region, encompassing states including: TX, NM, OK, LA, AR, etc. This role will involve providing short and long-term goals for representatives, forecasting sales activities, delivering technical support directly to customers, leading initiatives to drive new business, conducting product training, generating quotes, and ensuring target revenue attainment. Additionally, the position involves maintaining awareness of market conditions and competitors, researching new opportunities, and actively managing representatives, including field visits and performance evaluations.


Requirements


  • Provide short/long term goals and objectives for any Reps within the region to focus upon and meet sales goals.
  • Provide forecast to management on sales activities to facilitate planning.
  • Assist customers with pre and post sales technical support issues via phone, email and fax.
  • Perform, lead, follow up and initiate activates which may result in new or on-going business.
  • Provide product training to sales reps and regional managers.
  • Provide quotes, which include price breakdowns and lead times.
  • Attain target sales revenue and performance through the effective management of daily operation of respective representative network.
  • Support/participate Sales reps selling efforts through coaching, training and conducting conference calls with customers.
  • Maintain awareness of market conditions and competitor’s products and pricing.
  • Maintain working knowledge of all three North Atlantic Industries product lines and capabilities.
  • Research and find new opportunities and applications for our products and follow up on leads.
  • Ideal candidate will reside in Dallas, Texas. Work will be remote with approx. 25% travel (visiting customers / managing reps)

Qualifications

  • BSEE preferred or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years technical sales experience in embedded electronics and two years of management experience.
