The Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) is the hidden gem of the childcare industry for its financial reimbursement of providers and facilitation of healthy nutrition for children nationwide. We’re looking for a high-performing Sales Director to focus on Sponsor sales. This role is perfect for a passionate sales professional motivated by a mission-critical product and the impact KidKare has on helping our customers thrive. You’ll need empathy, drive, curiosity, and the determination to build relationships and tackle complex challenges. SaaS sales experience is required, and familiarity with the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) will be highly beneficial. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading sales initiatives that drive results, with a focus on data and customer-centricity. A deep understanding of the childcare and nutrition industries, combined with a passion for transforming technological solutions, will set you apart.


As an independent contributor, your focus will be on achieving and exceeding revenue targets. Reporting directly to the Head of RevOps, you’ll play a key role in driving our company’s growth through your own initiatives and efforts. 


Role & Responsibilities

New Business Development: Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting through closing. Drive new business by cultivating and generating new business leads, positioning our SaaS solution, delivering precise sales projections, negotiating terms, and securing deals. 

Client Engagement: Build long-term, trusted relationships with clients by understanding their needs and providing tailored SaaS solutions.

CACFP Expertise: Leverage your knowledge of the CACFP to provide valuable insights and build rapport with clients in the childcare and nutrition sectors.

Sales Strategy: Collaborate closely with the CEO, Head of RevOps and internal teams to implement strategies for generating demand and improving lead quality. Aid senior leadership on Enterprise / Government Sales. 

Performance Metrics: Consistently meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals. Monitor key sales metrics to ensure steady pipeline growth.

Reporting and CRM Management: Maintain detailed records of all sales activities, including calls, presentations, and deal closings, within the company’s CRM system (HubSpot).

Travel: Willingness to travel up to 5-15% for client meetings, conferences, and other events.


Experience/Skills

  • 4-6+ years of progressive experience in SaaS software sales or technology-related sales Demonstrated ability to manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closing, with strong qualification and closing skills.
  • Highly empathetic to customer challenges.
  • Curiosity and desire for continuous learning and improvement.
  • Proficiency working collaboratively with peers and executive team to create a results-driven, team-oriented environment. 
  • Experience creating and delivering presentations that convey relevant value propositions, with excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.

Salary Description
Base Salary + Commission
